In this holy month of Ramadan 1442, School of AI Algiers decided to organize a very special Hackathon. Keeping the Muslim community on the forefront of technology and especially with AI is one of our goals. Throughout this challenge, we seek to turn the blessings of Ramadan into an active force and develop awesome AI Applications that fall into “AI for the Muslim Community” theme. 

HackRamadan is a 15-days ideathon. Participants come together to spread khair and develop beneficial technological solutions for the community. The only clear restriction is that the solutions need to be AI-powered. Starting from April 25th, 2021 to May 9th, 2021 teams will undergo a series of evaluations.

Each 5 days, teams will:

• meet with their dedicated mentor and ask technical questions
• deliver a report on their state. The reports need to answer the following questions:
  • Report 1: (due 30/04)
    • What is the problem ?
    • Description of the Solution
  • Report 2: (due 05/05) 
    • How to collect the data ? Is there any dataset that could help ? 
    • What is the task realized by your model ?
    • How will the user interact with your solution ? (Mobile App ? Web Application ?)
• On the final day (09/05), each team will present its solution. A template for the presentation will be provided.

Throughout the duration of the event, we will host various virtual keynote presentations, panels and technical workshops based on relevant topics. Stay tuned on Discord and our Social Media accounts for more information.
